Products Description
- Normal state: The valve is closed. Water is in the pipe, under pressure, waiting at the valve.
- Fire: Someone opens the cabinet door. They connect a fire hose to the outlet. They open the valve by turning the handwheel. Water flows through the hose to the nozzle.
- After the fire: Close the valve. Drain the hose. Put everything back.
The valve works like any other valve. Turn it one way to open, the other to close. The handwheel is the standard red cross shape or round with four spokes.
