Dry nozzles are specifically designed for dry or pre action systems, characterized by the absence of water in the nozzle and the filling of compressed air or nitrogen in the pipeline to prevent freezing. After the thermal sensitive element (glass bubble or fusible alloy) ruptures during a fire, air is released and water enters the pipeline to spray and extinguish the fire.
Common application scenarios: cold storage, parking lots, unheated warehouses and other low-temperature environments.

1. Anti freezing protection
No water in the pipeline: The pipeline network connected to the dry nozzle is usually filled with compressed air or nitrogen to avoid pipeline rupture caused by low-temperature icing.
Suitable for extreme environments: It can work stably in an environment of -40 ° C~70 ° C, which traditional wet nozzles cannot achieve.
2. Quickly spray water during a fire
Dual stage trigger:
Phase 1: During a fire, the nozzle glass bubble ruptures due to heat, releasing gas from the pipeline.
Phase 2: After the air pressure drops, the dry alarm valve opens, and water quickly fills the pipe network and sprays out from the nozzle.
Extremely short delay: Modern dry nozzles have a water spray delay of only 1-3 seconds, approaching the response speed of wet systems.
