Common Problems and Fixes
- Problem: The flow adjust ring is stuck.
Fix: Dried foam or debris is inside. Soak the nozzle in warm water for an hour. Then twist the ring back and forth. If it's still stuck, take the
nozzle apart (follow the manual) and clean the internal parts.
- Problem: The pattern selector won't turn all the way to fog.
Fix: Debris is in the teeth. Push the pattern selector back to jet, then open the valve handle fully. The high flow might blow the debris out. If
not, take the nozzle apart and clean it.
- Problem: Water leaks from the valve handle.
Fix: The valve stem seal is worn. Replace it. We sell seal kits.
- Problem: The coupling leaks.
Fix: Replace the gasket. Standard fire hose gaskets work. If the coupling itself is cracked, replace the nozzle.
- Problem: The pistol grip swivel is loose.
Fix: Tighten the retaining nut. Don't over-tighten – you want it to swivel but not flop around.
