FM200 Cabinet System

Cabinet FM200 Fire Extinguishing System – Pre-Engineered, Non-Piping, Easy to Install
The Cabinet FM200 Fire Extinguishing System is also known as a pre-engineered or non-piping fire extinguishing system. It doesn't require a special room for storage cylinders or a pipe network – making it easy to design, install, use, and maintain.
Key advantages include low cost, portability, easy to move, fine exterior design, and keeping the protected area neat and tidy. The cabinet system is the ideal alternative when there is no separate room for cylinder storage, or when the gas carrying distance of a piped system is too long to meet the requirements.

Fujian Haijing Fire Fighting Equipment Co., Ltd. is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of fm200 cabinet system in China, also supports customized service. Please feel free to wholesale cheap fm200 cabinet system from our factory.

What Is a Cabinet FM200 System?

FM200 Cabinet Fire Suppression Unit

It's a complete fire suppression system that comes in a box. The cylinder, the valve, the hose, the nozzle – everything is inside a steel cabinet.

You put the cabinet in the room you want to protect. You connect a few wires to the fire panel. You aim the nozzle. That's it. No pipes. No separate cylinder room. No complicated design work.

People call it different things – pre-engineered system, non-piping system, modular unit. The name doesn't matter. What matters is that it works, and it's simple.

This is not for giant warehouses or data halls. It's for smaller spaces – up to about 300 cubic meters. Server rooms, telecom huts, electrical rooms, generator control cabinets, small archives, medical imaging rooms.

How Does It Work?

  • Normal state. The cylinder is full of liquid FM200. The solenoid valve is closed. The pressure gauge on the front of the cabinet shows green. The system is waiting.
  • Fire starts. A smoke or heat detector in the room sends a signal to the fire panel. The panel confirms the signal – it doesn't want to fire on a false alarm.
  • Delay. The panel starts a countdown – usually 15 to 30 seconds. Alarms sound. A strobe light flashes. People evacuate.
  • Discharge. The panel sends a DC24V signal to the solenoid. The solenoid opens the container valve. Liquid FM200 rushes up through the flexible hose and out the nozzle. The liquid turns into a gas as it enters the room. The gas fills the room. The fire goes out. The whole discharge takes less than 10 seconds.
  • After discharge. The pressure signal device tells the panel the system fired. The panel sounds the final alarm. You ventilate the room. You refill or replace the cylinder. The system is ready again.
  • The whole sequence – from fire detection to extinguishment – is under a minute. That's why cabinet systems are so popular for critical equipment protection.

FAQ

FAQ

Q1: What's the difference between a cabinet FM200 system and a piped FM200 system?

Cabinet system has the cylinder inside the protected room, in a cabinet. No pipes. The agent discharges directly through a short hose and a nozzle. Piped system has cylinders in a separate room. Pipes run to the protected area. Choose cabinet for small to medium rooms (under about 300 m³). Choose piped for larger rooms or multiple rooms.

Q2: Is the system pre-engineered or custom designed?

Cabinet systems are pre-engineered. The manufacturer has already done the design work. You just choose the right size for your room. No engineer required. Faster, cheaper, simpler.

Q3: How fast does the system discharge?

Under 10 seconds. The agent fills the room to the design concentration within 10 seconds of the valve opening.
