5000L BIG SIZE BALDDER FOAM TANK
For our bladder foam tanks shipped overseas, we typically manufacture vertical units with a capacity of ≤ 2,000 liters as standard. The primary reason is standard container height limitation - the maximum internal clear height of a standard 20ft or 40ft container is approximately 2.69m (2.68m usable). A 2,000L vertical tank can be designed within this height allowance, including the foam bladder, manhole, and fittings.
For larger capacities (e.g., 3,000L or 5,000L), a vertical configuration would exceed the container height, requiring costly special transport (flat rack or open-top containers) or on-site welding - both impractical for most projects.
Therefore, we offer two practical solutions:
≤ 2,000L – Vertical type, container-friendly, ready for shipment.
> 2,000L – Horizontal type, which fits standard containers without height issues, or skid-mounted vertical tanks shipped in parts.
This approach helps our customers avoid unexpected logistics costs and delivery delays.
However, it has to be said that overseas oil projects may require a capacity exceeding that volume, so we have to customize the product for the client. The production workers in the workshop then start figuring out how to transport it.
We weld a supporting frame around the tank and design it so that it can be easily tilted or laid down. As a result, upon arrival at the project site, the overseas engineers can put it into immediate use without the need for repeated water or pressure testing - saving valuable time for all parties while preserving the product's integrity.
