Foam Sprinkler Nozzle

Foam Sprinkler Nozzle

Foam-water deluge systems are best for spaces with ignitable liquids.
The foam-water sprinklers discharge foam from overhead sprinklers then discharge water—similar to standard spray sprinklers.
This model has a unique venturi-style body that allows foam to form and release as effectively as possible. As the foam solution (a water-and-foam concentrate) flows through the inlet, air is drawn into the body of the unit.
The foam solution mixed with air is agitated to create an air-aspirated foam. Then, the foam is released in a predetermined discharge pattern.

Fujian Haijing Fire Fighting Equipment Co., Ltd. is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of foam sprinkler nozzle in China, also supports customized service. Please feel free to wholesale cheap foam sprinkler nozzle from our factory.

Products Description

Foam Sprinkler is the main component of the foam sprinkler system. It is arranged in the protected area and uses the foam mixture to foam to achieve the key element of the final fire extinguishing function.

Where Do You Use Foam Sprinkler Nozzles?

Aircraft hangars – Huge open spaces with fuel spilled on the floor. Foam sprinklers in the ceiling. A fire starts, the system opens, foam rains down. Covers the whole hangar floor in minutes.

Flammable liquid storage rooms – Paint storage, solvent rooms, chemical warehouses. Foam sprinklers mounted on the walls or ceiling. They cover the racks and the floor.

Loading racks – Where trucks fill up with gasoline or diesel. Foam sprinklers under the canopy. A spill fire happens, the foam knocks it down before it spreads.

Transformer yards – Oil-filled transformers. Foam sprinklers on poles around the transformer. Fire starts, foam sprays directly onto the transformer and the oil pool below.

Helipads – Fuel spills on the deck. Foam sprinklers around the landing area. Fixed protection, no firefighters needed.

Flammable liquid process areas – Chemical plants, refineries, oil terminals. Anywhere with pipes, pumps, and valves that could leak and catch fire. Foam sprinklers cover the equipment.

These are not for your office building. These are for industrial hazards where water alone won't work.

Products Description

Q1: My nozzle flows liquid but no foam comes out. What's wrong?

The air holes are completely blocked. Clean them with compressed air or a small brush (toothbrush size works fine). While you're at it, check that your foam proportioner is actually injecting concentrate – sometimes the problem is upstream, not at the nozzle itself.

Q2: My foam is thin and watery. What's causing that?

Not enough air is getting in. The air holes are partially blocked – clean them. Or your water pressure is too low. The nozzle needs enough flow velocity to pull air. Check the pressure at the nozzle inlet. It should be around 7 bar (100 PSI).

Q3: My foam is dry and flaky, not wet and heavy. What's wrong?

Too much air or too much pressure. Check your pump pressure. It should be around 7 bar (100 PSI), not 10 bar. Higher pressure pulls in more air, which dries out the foam. Back the pressure down and test again.
